9 Story Media Group is a producer and distributor of world-class entertainment for youth and family audiences. Founded in 2001 as a Canadian animation studio, the company has grown to a staff of over 80 full-time employees dedicated to producing a wide range of quality entertainment.

9 Story's objective is simple - to deliver great content to audiences worldwide. The company's hands-on entrepreneurial management style, diversified expertise and established production, financing and distribution relationships ensure that each new property and partnership is launched with a solid foundation for success.

Now entering its eighth year, 9 Story continues to be recognized as a leader in the production of world-class content with five series currently in production, including the hilarious Almost Naked Animals and the exciting new PBS series, WildKratts. Based on the award winning brother team of Chris and Martin Kratt (Kratt’s Kreatures, Zaboomafoo, and Be a Creature), WildKratts takes full advantage of animation to illustrate never before seen animal adventures. In 2010, 9 Story entered the scripted live action genre, producing Harriet the Spy, a feature length movie premiering on Disney Channels Worldwide.

Other shows produced by 9 Story are the award-winning Peep and the Big Wide World, Jacob Two-Two, Postcards from Buster, If the World Were A Village, the action-adventure 3D animated series, Skyland, as well as the company's fully proprietary shows, Best Ed and Futz. To date, 9 Story has delivered over 250 half hours of animated television content viewed in over 150 countries around the world.

Continuing its partnership with Les Stroud, writer, producer, director and cinematographer of Survivorman (Discovery Networks, OLN), 9 Story is producing the second season of Survive This, a live-action survival series featuring young teens. The company joined forces with Darius Films to produce Fugget About It, a hilarious prime-time animated comedy pilot for TELETOON's Detour Block.
